December is always so busy.

Hand print reindeer - sooo cute

Isn’t this so cute. Betty at Heritage Quilts made it. Our inspiration for all these handprints is “Handprint Quilts” by Marcia L. Layton. She lives in Tampa and belongs to my Guild. Anyway, this inspired me. I need to take a Christmas block to our Guild party next Tuesday. So here is my block. I still may add a ball of holly at the bottom of the picture. I used the kids handprints that I had scanned in and manipulated with Photoshop Elements 5. I created the block in EQ6. OK, this is my block: reindeer playground2

I was using EQ5 to design our new baby’s quilt (Bryson, due 3/30/07) and am still working on it now in EQ6. Here are two versions – I think I am going with this first one. Bryson's Quilt - version 2 Bryson's quilt #2

My good friend Sondra (aka DixxeBell) wrote an article about my dog Rowdy and his recent recovery from near death. Find it here http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/index.php (Don’t tell Rowdy, but she used KieChi’s picture!)

We have another round of business happening starting Friday. 2 Christmas Parties for Friday night. Epcot (to see the world's Santa's) with the kids on Sunday. Guild Christmas dinner on Tuesday. Corvette club meeting on Wed. Then I get a little break. I turned down a party on Thursday. Whew.

Hope all of you are staying warm. It is still nice here but I hear this weekend we will be cool. Take care everyone – Peace KB
